The Head of the Labour Market Authority, Mr. Ali Aburweis, held a meeting today, Wednesday, in Tripoli with His Excellency the Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Engineer Ali Al-Abed Al-Rida.
During the meeting, the results of inspection campaigns at various workplaces were reviewed, along with mechanisms for leveraging these results to develop and regulate the labour market in a manner that ensures compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
Ways to strengthen coordination between the Labour Market Authority and the Labour Inspection Department were also discussed, contributing to improved efficiency of field follow-up and oversight, addressing violations, and providing a safe and organized working environment that safeguards the rights of both workers and employers alike.
